Tony Kenny SIPTU Branch Secretary Shannon Industrial and Aviation Branches is the Clare Council of Trade Unions nominee to the County Development Board.

Tony is a native of Corofin in North Clare and has been in Shannon with SIPTU for the past six and a half years.

He is Secretary of the Clare Council of Trade Unions and the Congress Information and Opportunities Centre Board of Management and also a member of the Shannon Airport Marketing Consultative Committee.

He states his objective over the next few years as being to help oversee the development of quality employment, social infrastructure, the improvement of rural communities and improving the lot of societies marginalised against a back drop of the counties assets of Shannon Airport and the Shannon Estuary.
