Structure of Clare Community Forum

There are 5 Community Networks of the Clare Community Forum. The Networks are made up of community & voluntary groups from within their area. All community & voluntary groups are invited to join the Networks. The Networks hold information evenings, training and involve themselves in consultation processes relevant to the community & voluntary sector. The Networks try to address, as far as possible, the needs of the community groups in their area. They need your support to be effective.

There are 25 members on the CCF, consisting of 5 members from each of the Community Networks, which broadly correspond with existing Electoral Areas. Community & Voluntary Groups from each Community Network are responsible for selecting their own representatives onto the CCF

• East Clare Community Network (which covers both the Killaloe & Scarriff electoral areas).
• North Clare CommunityNetwork
• West Clare Community Network
• Ennis Area Community Network
• Shannon & District Community Network

The Forum elects an Executive on an annual basis from its membership to support its functioning.
